How to use
Glide a generous amount through cleansed, soaking wet curls. Leave in 2-3 minutes. Rinse well. Use 1-2x a week or as needed.

I bought the new formulation a couple months ago, and I hate it. The old version had so much slip and left my hair feeling amazing. This has the consistency of thick lotion, has little slip, and my hair no longer feels delightfully moisturized after using. Why do companies insist on changing products that people love. Just add a new product and leave it alone.

UNHAPPY with ALL the changes

I have been a loyal Devacurl customer for over 6 years. I had a regular Devacurl routine that I was happy with. Heaven in Hair was my absolute favorite, but no longer. The scent, along with many of the other changed products is too perfumy. It used to smell great. I also bought the large container, which is now a pump, instead of the previous tub. The tub was much better, and very easy to use. The pump is RIDICULOUS. It is very difficult to use. I have it on a shelf, but I have to take it off the shuffle, put it on the floor of the tub, so I can pump with the palm of my hand with more weight. I can't pump it with my fingers.
It is clear that Devacurl DOES NOT care how they have affected their once happy customers. When I first started seeing their multiple changes, I called multiple times. Customer service can't truly respond to my concerns, and MANY times I asked to speak to someone who can take my concerns to those who make decisions. I probably called about 10 times, and NEVER got a return call, so I finally gave up. Now, I've finally decided to put in a review. Not that it matters, because I don't see Devacurl responding to the negative reviews here. My memory is that when Devacurl was amazing, they responded. Now they just ignore. So disappointed.

I love this product. After I remove the twist from my hair I rub a generous amount of Heaven in Hair in it, put a plastic cap on and my hair just lays down.
