Exchanging your points for curl-loving rewards couldn't be easier! You can redeem your points during the checkout process for discounts on the total purchase amount. Make sure that you are signed into your account when shopping.
Once you get to the checkout screen, you will see your total available Rewards points in a drop-down menu. To use your points, select the amount of points you want to redeem and then continue with the checkout process.

Your points will expire after one year of inactivity. Inactivity includes not interacting with our program i.e., redeeming points, placing an order, etc.

Our VIP tier is determined by the amount you spend in a rolling 12-month period.

Curl Knockout, you must spend $450+ in a 12-month period
Once you qualify, you will instantly move up and have access to that tier's perks for the ensuing 12 months. For example, if you joined a VIP tier on 11/13/2022, you will keep that status until 11/13/2023. Each time you earn a new status, the 12-month clock starts over and will expire 12 months from the new status date. As you move up in the VIP Tiers, you will retain all benefits from your previous tier.
Make sure to keep interacting with our program to maintain your status (or even move up a tier)!
When you are signed into your rewards account, your rewards page will list all the VIP tiers. Your current tier and perks will be highlighted.
When your total spend amount gets you to the next tier, you will receive an email welcoming you into the new tier.
Double-check that you were signed into your rewards account and didn’t accidentally check out as a guest. You must be logged in when making purchases to earn points. If you have done this in error, contact us here to help apply your points to your account. You also won’t receive points if you return your purchase, or your purchase is canceled for any reason. Again, please note that any points you earn on a purchase that you later return will be deducted from your point balance.
Yes! You work hard to earn points, and we want you to feel confident that all your points are right where they should be — in your account! The first thing to note is that there may be a delay in our systems communicating and points could take anywhere from minutes to several hours to appear in your account. However, if you feel like you have earned points, but they are not showing up in your account you can also troubleshoot it with these tricks:
1. Try to refresh your browser.
2. Try to log out and then back into your account.
3. Check your ‘Rewards history’ in your Rewards account to see if the points were added without you realizing it. Your ‘Rewards history’ will show you the number of points earned, how and when they were earned, as well as any redemptions of points made on your account.
If you still feel like your points balance is not accurate, you can contact us here to look into the issue for you.
Yes. If you are returning the entire order, we will refund you the total dollar amount spent after the discount was applied. The points you used to redeem the discount will also be added back into your rewards account.
We are sorry to hear that. There are a couple of scenarios that could have triggered the error message.
The first possible scenario is that there was a typo in one of the email addresses that you entered, or you forgot to put commas between multiple emails to separate them.
To eliminate confusion over what occurred, we recommend that you go back and enter each email address one at a time, clicking ‘send’ after each one rather than uploading them all at once.
If you are still having problems using the email referrals, we recommend using your unique referral link or sharing the referral through Facebook, Twitter, or Messenger to receive credit. Please contact us here if you need further assistance.

A referred friend must be a first-time customer for both of you to receive the referral rewards. In addition, the referral must be initiated through our rewards referral box on your personal rewards page or using your unique referral link also found there.

When this happens, you will receive an email informing you that one of your referrals made a purchase using your code and that a reward was added to your account. You can also check your ‘Rewards History’ to see a list of any points that you have received for referrals.

Happy Birthday! We’re so glad that you have chosen to celebrate with us through our rewards program. In order for you to receive your birthday bonus on your birthday, you must register your birthday at least 30 days prior to your birthday.
If your birthday falls between the day that you registered and the 30-day waiting period afterwards, you will receive your birthday bonus 30 days after your registration. This delay is only applicable for the first year that you signed up.
All successive birthday bonuses will be emailed to you on your birthday. If you register your birthday through your rewards account any time after it has passed in the current calendar year, rewards will not be added to your account until the day of your birthday in the following year.
Remember, the birthday reward is determined by the Rewards member tier that you are part of on the date of your birthday. If it has been more than 30 days since you registered for your birthday reward and you still have not received the additional points in your account, please contact us here and we will be happy to assist you.

We’ve made it easy peasy. When placing an order, select the “Subscribe & Save” option on the product page. This will then allow you to select the frequency in which you want that item delivered. Once you have successfully completed that order and checked out, you are enrolled and have created a subscription account.
With big curl love — and our standard shipping partners via Free Ground shipping (available to the Contiguous United States, not including Alaska and Hawaii) and will take 4-7 business days to arrive.
We know, you can’t wait! You will receive an email with tracking details once your order has shipped. For upcoming orders, you can sign into your account and click Subscriptions where you can view upcoming shipment dates.

OPTION 1
An account and sign-in is required for all subscription orders. If you have not registered an account, you will need to create an account using the same email address used at checkout. Once your account is registered, you can log in and access your subscriptions customer portal by clicking on the Subscriptions link in your DevaCurl® account.
OPTION 2
You can also access your account using a direct link to the customer portal. This link is normally sent in the Subscription Confirmation email when you begin a subscription and the Upcoming Order email.
We’re flexible* — to skip a delivery, log in to your account, select Subscriptions then follow the below steps:
Click the Delivery Schedule tab to see all upcoming deliveries for your subscriptions.
Click Skip next to the delivery you would like to skip. If you want to unskip a delivery, click Unskip next to the order.
*All order updates must be made no less than 48hrs prior to shipment date. If you skip a delivery within 48hrs of when it is scheduled to ship, we will bill and ship your next order, the next order after that will be skipped.
Basically, to adjust the order date, log in to your account, select Subscriptions then follow the below steps:
Click Subscriptions and then click on Edit.
You will be taken to a page where you can edit the next order date for your subscription.
Once you select the new charge date you can click on the Update next shipment date.
Please note that when shipment dates are adjusted, delivery dates may change as well.
You sure can. Pause your subscription in the My Account section of our website.
Please note that you must pause your subscription no less than 48hrs prior to shipment date. If you pause your subscription within 48 hours of your next order date, it is too late to pause your next order. Therefore, we will bill and ship your next order but every subsequent order after than will be paused.
But why would you? Kidding! But remember, you can always hit pause too. If you choose to cancel your subscription, log in to your account, select Subscriptions then follow the below steps:
Click Subscriptions and Edit.
Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the Cancel Subscription. Confirm the cancellation by clicking Proceed.
Please note that cancellations must happen no less than 48hrs prior to the next order/shipment date. If you cancel within 48hrs of the next shipment, we will bill and ship your next order but every subsequent order after that will be cancelled.
Cha-ching! You can update payment information by going to My Account → Subscriptions → Payment Method tab.
If you used PayPal as your payment method, you may be able to edit the payment method in your PayPal settings. Otherwise, you need to cancel the subscription and start a new subscription via checkout.

These curl-loving subscriptions are available to all countries we currently ship to.
No, express shipping will only apply to your first order. All subsequent recurring orders will be sent via normal shipping.
No, it is not possible to schedule your exact delivery date, just the shipping date. Your order will be shipped on the calendar date that you originally ordered, and delivery time may vary month on month.
We love to hear it! To add a one-time product(s) to your subscription, follow the below after logging in:
Click the Subscriptions tab and select Edit next to the subscription you want to add a product to.
Hover over the product you want to add and select Add one-time. This automatically adds the product to your shipment.
You can also add one-time products using the Add a Product button on the Subscriptions tab. To manage or delete a one-time product:
Click the Delivery schedule tab.
Select Manage add-on.

afterpay
Installments by Afterpay is a service that allows you to make purchases now and pay for them in four equal payments made every 2 weeks without any interest.
Simply shop online and add items to your shopping bag and checkout as normal. At the checkout choose Installments by Afterpay as your payment method. First-time customers will need to register with Afterpay and provide payment details, as usual, returning customers simply log in to make their purchase. It’s that easy!
Please note that all items in your shopping bag must be eligible for Installments by Afterpay. A minimum purchase amount of $35 applies and you must meet additional eligibility requirements to qualify.
Installments by Afterpay can only be applied to purchases made on devacurl.com website.
Installments by Afterpay is only available to customers with a US billing address within the US and a US mobile phone number. Customers with international billing addresses will not be able to set up an account with Afterpay.
All customers are required to make their first payment at the time of purchase, with the remaining three payments deducted every two weeks from your chosen payment method. If you choose to make additional payments before your scheduled pay dates, you may do so through your Afterpay account.
You can log in to your Afterpay account to view your payment schedule and make a payment before the due date if you choose to do so.

If you have changed your mind, you can return your Afterpay purchase (if eligible) by mail for a refund. Please check that your return or exchange meets our Return policy. Generally, our shipping facility cut-off is 1:00PM EST/EDT, orders placed prior will be processed same-day Monday thru Friday.
Orders after 1:00PM EST pickup will be processed the next business day.
You can track your order by logging into your account and clicking on the ‘Order History’ link. Then click the order number of the order you would like to track. There will be a ‘Track Order’ link that appears above the list of purchased products that will open a new window with the shipment tracking details.

PO, APO, FPO, DPO’s – We cannot ship to PO Boxes via FedEx and will need to adjust shipping to USPS at the shipping facility. Due to regulation/restrictions, we are unable to ship Aerosols to APO, FPO and DPO locations.
We regret that we are unable to ship restricted items by air. Restricted items include: Aerosols, such as Flexible Hold Hairspray and High Shine. Restrictions set by the U.S. Department of Transportation, due to air transport restrictions and regulations. Other restrictions may apply.
We do not advise the shipping of products to none permanent addresses (hotels, vacation homes etc.) and cannot be held responsible for packages that are misplaced at a destination where you (the purchaser) are not responsible for the acceptance of delivery. If you do choose to have packages delivered to hotels etc. please ensure that the location is aware of the package arrival ahead of time.

If you are not completely satisfied with your DevaCurl.com purchase for any reason, you may return the item to us within 60 days of purchase. Click here to start your return.
Note that you will be required to return the product to us to receive a refund. Once you complete the returns form, you will receive a return authorization e-mail with return instructions and a shipping label for your returned products. We will provide a pre-paid shipping label for delivery addresses in the Contiguous United States only (i.e., not including Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, or Canada). If your delivery address is in Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, or Canada you are responsible for all return mailing and shipping costs.
Once we receive your returned item, we will inspect and process it, and issue a refund in the amount of the original charge for the item (including tax). However, we will not refund the shipping charges on your original order unless we shipped the item to the wrong address. After we have processed your return and issued a refund, you will receive a refund confirmation email. Refunds for returned items will be credited to the original payment method you provided. Please note that your financial institution may take an additional 7-14 business days after you receive the notification e-mail to reflect this transaction.
Any items identified as “FINAL SALE” or purchased during Cyber Week promotions are final sale and not eligible for return or refund.

No-Poo = No Lather! This means that the sodium lauryl sulfate was removed from the shampoo. Years ago stylists discovered that sodium lauryl sulfate was super-harsh and that bubbles did not = clean.
DevaCurl created a botanically-infused cleanser with a specific pH level that could cleanse the scalp without stripping follicles. The result was the world’s first conditioning cleanser No-Poo Original.
The key difference is that no-poo does not lather and low-poo has a mild lather. Low Poo’s mild lather is derived from a coconut surfactant not from a foaming agent so it’s not drying.
These sulfate-free formulas will produce little to no lather. You will need to use your fingertips to work the formula on your scalp—scrub it in and scrub it out while rinsing. Your hair will also not have a squeaky-clean feeling – which is perfect for curls because it means they are moisturized.

We know that our curl community wants products that are safe and effective. That’s why all of our products comply with the safety and manufacturing regulations for cosmetics in the US, Canada and the European Union (which has some of the strictest cosmetics safety rules in the world)!
Formula Safety Testing
Curly (wavy and coily) hair is the best hair, and we want to keep it that way. Every single DevaCurl® formula has been tested to ensure that your curls get the TLC that they need. Here’s how:
Safety In Use Testing
350 Curly people. Four weeks. Happy Curls. All of our products undergo “Safety-In-Use Testing”, or SIU, by Board-Certified Dermatologist and well-known hair expert, Dr. Zoe Draelos. During SIU, Dr. Draelos assessed all of our products for the potential to have an adverse reaction under normal use conditions over a 4-week study period. The result? 350 happy curls at the end of 4 weeks. No adverse events occurred during SIU – that means no irritation, no scalp redness and no dryness. During the SIU, we also asked participants what they thought about the products and those results support the claims you see on our bottles! These tests confirm that all of our curl-friendly products are safe and that they deliver the results you have come to expect from DevaCurl®.
Hair Breakage Test: Tensile Break Strength
Did you know that curly hair has more disulfide bonds than straight hair which makes it more susceptible to breakage? We have formulated every single DevaCurl® product with this in mind and the Tensile Break Strength Test keeps us honest. It determines if our products decrease the strength of the internal hair structure or have the potential to permanently change curl pattern. Based on these tests, we know with certainty that all DevaCurl® products are curl-friendly – our products have no negative effect on the break stress or break extension of either virgin or bleached hair.
Product Allergen Test: Human Repeat Insult Patch Testing
Let’s be real – allergies aren’t fun. In the HRIPT, all of our products were applied multiple times to a patch of skin over the course of 3 weeks. Our product showed no potential for skin irritation or allergic contact sensitization. All test results were signed, sealed, and delivered by a Board-Certified Dermatologist.
Package Compatibility
Our formulas and packaging swiped right on each other and plan to live happily ever after ::swoon:: Every one of our products has to pass “package compatibility testing” before it gets on the shelf. This test confirms that there are no safety or quality issues that occur from the interaction of our formulas and their intended packaging over a period of several months at extreme conditions. The results confirmed that they’re a perfect match.

It’s in the best interest of your curls!
SLS/SLES Sulfates can strip the hair of its natural oils and since curly hair can dry out quite fast, we’ve chosen to formulate without them.
Silicones are synthetic ingredients made up of hydrogen, oxygen and carbon. They are widely used in hair products to give that feeling of a moisturized slip but in reality, it’s just coating the strands and acting as a filler. Using silicones on a regular basis can cause major buildup weighing down your hair.
Lastly, parabens are a type of preservative that basically help deter bacteria and mold. While parabens allow products to last super long, they can cause curly hair to dry out and frizz.
Yes. Even though some of our products contain wheat-derived ingredients, they have been processed to remove gluten. All of our products have been lab tested and verified to be gluten-free.

The bunny symbol on our products communicates our commitment to being cruelty-free in compliance with the Leaping Bunny Program.As a Leaping Bunny certified company, we commit that we will not conduct any animal testing of our products, or their ingredients, at any stage of product development. Our manufacturers and ingredient suppliers must make the same pledge and we obtain written declarations from them to ensure our products are cruelty-free. All DevaCurl products are manufactured in compliance with the Leaping Bunny standards and are free of animal testing.

The majority of our new bottles are made from 50% recycled ocean-bound plastic to reduce our eco-footprint. In addition, we have some bottles made from 50% as well as 35% recycled plastic. All tubes are made from 30% recycled post-consumer resin (PCR). All of our bottles, tubes and aluminum cans are recyclable.
After our products are manufactured, they are stored at our logistics partner before being delivered to our customers. Our products are stored in a warehouse at an ambient temperature based on industry standards and confirmed by our testing protocols.
